Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Roy and I am a young professional in the Special Effects industry. I believe I am most successful when I am working with the conceptual process to fully realize characters and creations. Sculpting and sketching with clay is something I love because I feel it is easier to develop and create when you can see it in all angles at once. My plan is to be working on sculpts, prosthetics and props for feature films within the next 5 years. Working with directors like Del Toro and Tarantino are dreams for me, but my greatest achievement would be to work with the phenomenal Doug Jones. I was originally inspired to investigate the industry when I first saw body painting. Soon I realized I loved SPFX and the artists who were creating so freely! Because of this passion and drive that I have, I try to be as helpful and open to new information as possible and I have furthered my education and skills in sculpting, painting, and casting with materials like silicones. I am always willing to accept a challenge and try to learn as much as I can on the way!
